ACTIVITIES
AVAILABLE FOR SPONSORSHIP

1.
Presidential Luncheon. |
This
is a high profile event attracting high ranking Government
Officials, Diplomats, Heads of International Organizations,
Chief Executives or private, parastatal and Quasi-Government
organizations and non-Governmental Organisations.
The
official Opening is preceded by a luncheon in honor of the
Guest of Honor who is either the Republican President or
a visiting Head of State. The sponsorship is for 400 and
the luncheon has in the past been sponsored by various institutions.
The
sponsorship gives you several benefits including free advertising
space on the marquee, the luncheon invitation cards, the
menu cards and space in the Main Arena etc. Sponsoring organizations
are allowed to give a short speech during the function.

2.
Welcome Cocktail. |
This
is a high profile event attracting 150 chief and senior
executives of companies and international organizations
of your preferred target market. The sponsor will have the
privilege of promoting their corporate image through speeches
and display of information materials.

3.
Judges Luncheon. |
This
is a high profile event attracting mostly chief and senior
executives of companies and international organizations
up to 80 people. The sponsor decorates the luncheon room/venue
with their adverts and can distribute leaflets and deliver
a short speech of about five minutes.

4.
Entertainment. |
This
comprises Zambian popular musicians, solo artists and bands,
cultural/traditional dancing troupes, majorettes and motorbike
stuntman. The sponsoring institution may choose the best
possible way of marketing their products or services.

5.
VIP'S Tent / Marquee. |
This
is where the VIPs, Cabinet Ministers, Diplomats, Chief Executives
etc. sit next to the Presidential dais. Companies can sponsor
the tent by writing their company name and logos. This is
a vantage point, which is captured live by Zambia National
Broadcasting Corporation television during the entire official
opening ceremony lasting about two hours.

6.
Awads / Trophies. |
These
are winning awards in 21 Judging categories carrying first
and second prizes. The sponsoring company will have its
name engraved on a plate attached to the floating trophy
and shield. The shield is permanently kept by the winning
organization.

7.
Presidential Portrait. |
This
is artwork of portraits of the Republican President and
the visiting head of state that is mounted on the performing
stage in the Main Arena and the entrance of the staircase
to the Presidential Pavilion.
Sponsors
will have their company name logos under the portraits.
These are very strategically placed advertising spaces.

8.
Invitation Cards. |
These
are various forms of invitation cards such as the official
opening ceremony etc. Sponsors will put their adverts on
the reverse side of the cards – distribution up to 5,000
cards.

9.
Business Seminars. |
These
are discussions on topical issues in various sectors: such
as investment and export promotion, finance, energy, insurance,
regional integration, manufacturing, mining (traditional
& non-traditional), information technology etc. Organizations
will be given the opportunity to address invited key decision
makers on themes of their choice in their respective sectors.
These
seminars will be held on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday
and Monday during the show period. The participating company
may opt to sponsor a cocktail luncheon on dinner for the
invited guests. These seminars are very effective in reaching
target clientele. Up to 80 people can be invited.

10.
Official ZITF Catalog. |
This
is the official catalogue of events, list of exhibitors;
it contains messages from the Republican President, Minister
of Commerce, COMESA Secretary-General etc. Exhibitors and
non-exhibiting companies place full-page adverts. It carries
not less than 30 adverts of reputable companies both Zambian
and foreign. The catalogue is distributed to all advertisers,
exhibitors, hotels, banks, airports etc. Distribution: 5,000
copies.

11.
Wall Panel Advertising. |
Adverts
that are placed on these wall panels last for one year.
As the Trade Fair is now well positioned for high profile
business seminars and conferences as well as the grounds
are being used for FAZ premier league matches, advertising
on these wall panels provides an ideal exposure.
Cost
of advertising on wall and Main Arena panels = K1 million
per 3m x 3m.

12.
Provision of Refreshmanets During Official Opening. |
| About
1000 VIP’s attend the official opening ceremony. This includes
High commissioners and ambassadors accredited to Zambia,
senior government officials, and Chief executives from private
and parastatal companies. The sponsoring institution is
given the privilege to dress the hostesses serving the refreshments
in the institutions’ corporate identity, besides hanging
banners around the VIP lounge.

Car Stickers. |
Over
5000 car stickers are distributed to all the exhibitors,
local and international companies, media institution, and
show goers |
